 Our skin and hair are affected by many different things in our daily lifestyle like ultraviolet radiation from sun exposure or dust,  smoke pollution in cities, and many other things. 

The level of pollution has now left us with no way to live healthily. Chemicals like SO2, NO2, NO, CO2 and CO2 are considered the most dangerous. These chemicals may not harm us. 

Gradually the intake and living in that environment is worsening human nature and the human body every day. Cars, industries, smoking, and traffic are the main contributions to the environment. 

For the working people, it’s getting more serious when they have to move in and out every day. This may sign in lessening the hair, damaging natural beauty for the business person specifically females. 

According to a recent research study, its analysis shows that intense exposure to pollutants also affects the skin, reduces the stratum corneum (outer skin layer) quality, increases the dark spots, intensifies wrinkles, fine lines, and affects the normal composition of natural sebum production.”

Pollution exposure, mainly the chemicals- SO2, NO2, NO, CO2, and CO2,

VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds), and PAHs are anticipated to inflame the skin, increase the oxidative stress in the skin and work synergistically, and also become infective with sun rays. These pollutants are considered to be the main reasons for skin cancer. 

Also, this Pollution exposure can cause chemical damage to the hair from intense pollution. which may lead to degrading hair protein, affects the hydrophilic hair surface damaged, also affects hair cuticles.

Sunscreen is known as the god-savior for the skin made by dermatologists. A sunscreen with the power of antioxidants is the right way to protect your skin from the effects of pollutants. The daily use of sunscreen gives your skin a shield against UVA, UVB, and IR rays. Nonetheless, the richness of antioxidants in sunscreen provides full protection from pollution.

We usually prefer to rinse our face during the day for freshness in the winters.  Yet preferring washing your face in the evening, cleansing the face not only provides you with freshness but also a big relief from dust, grime, and pollutants which get stuck to your face after being out since morning. charcoal-based or active ingredients – vitamin C or retinol-based could help one using a serum to deeply cleanse your skin and remove pollutants. Following these steps in every life will give the best results. For healthy skin, this step is a must. 

Give your skin the night skin repair therapy

The other thing that needs to include in your night skincare routine is a good repair face serum or cream. Retinol, vitamin C, or ferulic acid-based face serums are best to repair polluted skin. These ingredients are rich in antioxidants, which help to neutralize free radicals, reduce oxidative stress and reduce pollutant-induced skin damage.

 Go for a home-based detox face pack every week

There are abundant DIY detox face packs that you will love to apply to your face. In which the ultimate DIY is that. You’ll need cocoa powder and ground coffee beans for this pack. These two ingredients contain the best antioxidants to cleanse the face. Take both ingredients in an equal quantity and add coconut oil or milk to make a fine paste. Cover your hair with cloth or hat when outside

Choose to Rinse the hair after  every two to three days

To make your game healthy and luscious. Make sure to rinse your hair every 2 to 3 days, especially if you live in an area with high pollution levels. It will clear up all the dirt and pollutants from your scalp. 

Give your hair a keratin spa or keratin mask

Pollutants can also affect hair protein levels. Thus, to reclaim your healthy, bouncy hair. You can get a keratin spa at home, using a good hair mask. For that, you need 1 tablespoon of almond oil, 1 tablespoon of honey, and 1 egg yolk. Mix the ingredients and apply the paste to the overall scalp and hair. Wait for an hour and shampoo the hair.

These tips can cover you from pollution and revive your skin and hair to maintain their natural substances. Along with these, you must add antioxidant-rich foods like citrus fruits, broccoli, spinach, onions, garlic, and turmeric to revive skin and hair from the inside.
