TheNewsDesk: On Friday, Nandan Nilekani, Global IT Major Infosys Co-Founder and Chairman, stated, healthcare one of the large sectors that would profit from digital transformation.
In the first annual lecture planned by the Public Affairs Forum of India (PAFI), through a virtual platform, he stated, “Besides healthcare, education, retail and logistics are other big sectors that will benefit from digital technology.”
Nilekani acknowledged that resolving the complexities of the country needed various abilities and expertise. He summoned for local policy and partnerships on precedence.
He stated, “To bring policy changes, stakeholders should have facts to demonstrate through data a positive network effect on society.”
He pointed out, “Policy is something which has positive externalities.”
Stressing on the steps to assist policy-making in developing digital technologies. Nilekani affirmed those who considered a possible change and transformation would have to formulate and keep orders available.
He stated, “Government schemes like Diksha in the education sector and the National Digital Health Mission (NDHM) in the healthcare sector had a transformative digital impact as both were well conceptualized.”
