Dr Shravan Subramanyam designated MD of Wipro GE Health-care

Looking forward to leverage experience to help transform the healthcare space in India, says Dr Subramanyam

THD NewsDesk, Bengaluru: On Wednesday, Wipro GE Healthcare declared the office of Dr Shravan Subramanyam as the Managing Director of the company and as President & CEO of GE Healthcare India and South Asia, in effect from the same day.

Dr Subramanyam joined the company from Roche Diagnostics where he was the Managing Director, India and neighbouring Markets. Declared in a release, he was responsible for marketing operations, market access, client experience and digital alteration efforts.

He supersedes Nalinikanth Gollagunta, who will be the Global Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the GE Healthcare Digital organisation post-transition.

Dr Subramanyam said, “I look forward to leveraging my experience and our pioneering efforts in manufacturing, innovation and business solutions to help transform the healthcare space in India. The potential that lies ahead for Wipro GE Healthcare in India is enormous, and the opportunity to contribute to this next chapter is deeply humbling and incredibly exhilarating.”

In India, GE Healthcare works in a Joint Venture (Wipro GE Healthcare (WGE)) with Wipro Limited.

As per the manifesto, Dr Subramnayam will be overseeing the development of Wipro GE”s expansion projects, delivering on profitable outcomes, imperative growth objectives, and operating partnerships in the region.

It further added that he would continue propelling the company’s aim of innovating technology and business solutions to upgrade to high-quality, economical healthcare solutions.
