Have three meals a day: 

A suitable and wholesome breakfast. Breakfast is brainfood is a saying that we have all heard numerous times. So significant is breakfast. As a result, skipping breakfast or eating less of it than you should can have an impact on your entire system. Breakfast is the largest meal of the day, so eat it like a king.

The average lunch portion is smaller than the average breakfast portion. A balanced diet is one that contains an adequate amount of calories, fat, protein, vitamins, and minerals.

Have Light meals for dinner. Ayurveda recommends having dinner by 8 PM so that the body can digest it before night to optimise digestion and the quality of sleep. For our bodies to digest food, we require Agni (fire). After dusk, there is less Agni, thus overindulging might be detrimental. Just enough food will allow your body to focus fully on providing you with restorative sleep rather than exerting additional energy.

You will therefore experience some degree of Kapha dominance during this time, regardless of your dosha body type. Therefore, if you go to bed within this period, your chances of having a restful night’s sleep are very high.
