About the hospital
King’s College Hospital London in Dubai runs a 100-bed multi-speciality tertiary hospital on Alkhail Road in Dubai Hills Estate. The hospital opened to outpatients and inpatients in January 2019 and, according to its announcement at the time, was brought to Dubai through a joint venture of Al Tayer Group, Dubai Investments and Ashmore Group. King’s Commercial, a wholly owned subsidiary of King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, says it was involved in setting up the Dubai hospital.
The hospital says clinical policies, procedures and practices in its UAE facilities were established by King’s College Hospital in London. Its Dubai network also includes medical centres in Jumeirah, Dubai Marina and Mudon, clinics in Park Heights and an aesthetics clinic. The hospital says it will add 100 beds in a phase two expansion, and King’s Commercial lists a ceremony to break ground on that expansion among its 2026 news.
