Mediclinic Holdings’ results for the year to 31 March 2026 state that Mediclinic is jointly owned by Remgro Limited, through certain subsidiaries, and Investment Holding Limited SARL (IHL), a wholly owned subsidiary of MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company Holding SA. Remgro’s announcement of 31 March 2026 said the two each hold 50% of Mediclinic Holdings.
Under an implementation agreement signed on 30 March 2026, Remgro is to take full ownership of Mediclinic Southern Africa and IHL full ownership of Hirslanden in Switzerland, each for USD 950 million, while the two continue to hold 50% each of the Middle East business and the minority interest in Spire Healthcare.
