Okadoc Technologies is a Dubai-based company that runs an online doctor booking platform. Its story page says founder Fodhil Benturquia introduced it as the UAE’s first doctor booking platform after spending 15 minutes on hold for a doctor’s appointment when he fell sick in 2017. For healthcare providers, Okadoc offers a 24/7 appointment management service with practitioner and facility profiles, online booking integrated with the provider’s HIS, pre-booking checks such as ID validation, insurance upload and online payment, reminder notifications, and video consultations on what it calls the TRA approved Okadoc platform. Providers can brand the service and embed it in their own website and app.
The company lists offices in Dubai Healthcare City, Abu Dhabi (Hub71, Al Maryah Island), Riyadh and Jakarta, and publishes ISO/IEC 27001 certificates on its site.
