Punjab suspends 520 chemist licences and seizes Rs 20.64 crore of medicines
An official Punjab statement, reported by PTI and carried by Medical Dialogues, says 16,788 inspections from April 2025 to September 2026 led to seizures from 214 firms and 22 licence cancellations. The statement puts pregabalin's move to Schedule H1 at 12 November.
