THD NewsDesk, New Delhi: Envisioned to revolutionize India’s sphere of health care sector, DIVOC set out to launch a technologically advanced clinical laboratory in August this year. Two months into establishing its first laboratory in Okhla, New Delhi, DIVOC is geared up to expand its service.
Accredited by NABL and ICMR, DIVOC Health currently boasts of having a one-of-its-kind digital diagnostic laboratory network. Apart from providing telemedicine and instant care to 100 patients daily, DIVOC’s Okhla laboratory also offers RT-CPR and Rapid Antigen testing for Covid-19. Broadening its scope of health care facility, DIVOC Health aims to set up 20 more such laboratories by 2021. With the inauguration of new clinical laboratories, DIVOC would offer its service to 500-600 patients daily in the next 90 days.
Dr. Kanav Kahol, CEO of DIVOC Health, said, “We are working on a unique platform that will allow phlebotomists to double their income. We aim to provide a modern, quality driven digital approach to laboratory operations that facilitate consumers with unprecedented reliability, convenience, and impactful innovations. We have actually seen a demand increase for innovations and we promise to be digitally empowered, bring innovations to improve health and be trustworthy and responsible for our operations. For telemedicine to be successful it is important to have equally faster diagnostics at the doorstep, just as instant as virtual health consultations are. We have plans to establish 20 Divoc Labs in India within this year.”
Sponsored by London-based DIVOC Wellness, DIVOC Health is ready to take its telemedicine service across India. Few of the initial Indian cities to benefit from their health service will be Lucknow, Bhopal and Jaipur. On a bold mission to develop hundreds of such ‘Labs of the Future,’ DIVOC envisages developing a system wherein patients get accurate diagnostics tests and results delivered to their doorstep in merely 20 minutes.
Presently, DIVOC Laboratories offer Clinical Chemistry, Clinical Microbiology, Hematology, Serology, Clinical Microscopy, Cytopathology and Molecular Biology. This year, DIVOC collaborated with Atomo Diagnostics to bring its COVID-19 Rapid Antibody test to the Indian market.
