THDNewsDesk, Delhi: On Monday, the city reported three casualties due to coronavirus disease (Covid-19). It becomes the lowest fatality count in ten months.
As per Satyendar Jain, Delhi Health Minister, only 32 Covid-19 patients required hospitalization, which displayed the lowest number in the last ten months.
However, he warned people to be cautious. He took to Twitter by stating, “Corona severity is going down; still, we should be careful. Wear Mask and follow social distancing to keep yourself and your family safe.”
The positivity rate in Delhi stood at 0.28 percent.
On Monday, the number of Covid-19 cases filed in Delhi reached 121, as per a health bulletin issued by the officials. With this, the national Capital’s tally touched 6,35,217.
On Sunday, the tally of active cases has descended to 12,265 from 1,361. The health department’s bulletin stated that 6,23,096 patients have revived and released or migrated so far.
As per the bulletin, 5,682 beds out of the total 6,306 in the city’s COVID-19 hospitals are unoccupied. On Sunday, the number of people in home isolation dropped to 504 from 548.
Jain said the austerity of coronavirus is descending, but “we should be careful.
The Health Department also conducted 43,712 tests to identify Covid-19, including 29,730 RT-PCR and 14,342 rapid antigen ones.
On Monday, India logged 11,427 new active cases and 118 casualties taking the country’s poll to over 10.75 million. As per the Union Health Ministry’s update at 8 am, the improvement rate is 97 percent, with the ministry stating it to be one of the largest globally.
