Health is a word we have been hearing since the beginning of this lockdown series. Everybody has been worried about their health especially their mental health which has been disturbed a lot lately.
Every time we hope this lockdown will end, we are surprised by an entry of a new shade of virus.
Health care is a vast term involving every aspect of our body and soul. If we look at the impact lockdown has made, it has majorly affected our mental souls. Being trapped in a closed room for months is not an easy task in this metropolitan city.
A huge part of youngsters has been affected with their futures being on hold with them not knowing what to do next. Several interviews being on hold. being departed from their loved ones. All of this has horrified our people. The world has been a witness to washing away a part of the population in such a short unexpected time.
Overcoming this shock is a big task
Our family members make it an easier path for us to come through. But when they themself depart from us,it’s altogether a different mental trauma. People may start having suicidal thoughts and end everything. Strong emotional support is so much needed in these situations.
The lockdown has shut many of our lives under one roof. People have started working from home. This has reduced the harm on their careers but most have forgotten about their health care as they are constantly into their laptops or mobiles.
A survey conducted by over 130 families says that during the lockdown people have forgotten to communicate even after living under one roof. The situation seems to worsen with each lockdown increasing interpersonal relationship distance.
Each and every member irrespective of their age are now indulged on their phones. This has already affected a lot of relationships. The constant use of phones has resulted in blindness and use of specs at such a younger age as 3 yrs.
People are so much into their phones that they don’t have time to take a break.they are so much lost that they are unaware of the time. Their routines are disturbed. They may eat only one meal which otherwise would have been 3 a day.
Each day is like a usual day which they have to just pass by hoping this pandemic would come to an end and we all be back to normal lives. Some people being inspired by internet or social media have started working on healthcare.
Many have joined gyms, started going on morning or evening walks, going on trips to hills stations which one might not have even imagined they would do if it was any of those busy schedules like before lockdown.
Lockdown has definitely been a good cause for at least a few who have started focusing and loving themselves through workouts, yoga and adopting hobbies. Whereas on the other side we can see many people who have totally kept themselves aloof, disinterested in any activities. These people have lost goals in life.
We can hope soon this disaster ends and people may get back to their normal lives. People who have lost their goals in life gain back their interests.people who have lost their dear ones would have their well wishers nearby supporting them so let’s be positive ,pray and support each other!
